Information Collection

Information You Provide to Us

We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, we may collect information when you fill out a form, send us an email, sign up to receive email or text message updates, request information, sign a petition, complete a survey, sign up as a volunteer, sign up for an event, participate in a contest or promotion, make a donation or purchase, request voting information or access voter registration tools, submit content, communicate with us via third party social media sites, apply for a grant, sign up to create a sister chapter of a project, or otherwise communicate with us. In addition, the New York State Board of Elections may require us to collect certain personal information from donors.  For example, the New York State Board of Elections requires us to collect (and disclose) the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of individuals who donate.

Information We Collect Automatically When You Use the Site
